Sovereign Refuge in Tenerife – Technology, Land, and Bitcoin
A physical space in Tenerife that already exists and is operational. It is not an idea or a prototype. It is a piece of land where a group of people with a shared goal —independence from the system— have built a sovereign refuge based on a distributed protocol (a private agreement among individuals with clear rules).
It functions as a project incubator at the intersection of:
Roots in the land (vegetable garden, chickens, bees, animal feed crops, circular economy applied to the soil)
Technology (Bitcoin, mining, renewable energy, hydroponics)
Community and Activities.
What will you find if you come?
Learn by living the model: you take part in daily tasks, understand why everything is where it is, and see with your own eyes how the integration between Bitcoin, land, animals, and energy works.
No screens in between. This is not a museum or an online course. It is physical cyberspace.
- Temporary accommodation for total immersion: Rooms available for short-term rental.
- Complete immersion: you eat what the farm produces, help with the tasks, sleep to the sound of the miners humming or the wind in the turbines.
Activities and learning during your stay
Guided tours and active participation to understand:
- Living Darkpunk (mining with waste heat, strategic reserves, trust protocols without paper).
- Applied circular economy (food scraps → chickens → eggs → compost → vegetable garden).
- Parallel Polis in the real world (how structures parallel to the State operate without asking for permission).
- Built Solarpunk (renewable energy, hydroponics, closed loops).

English is the primary language spoken at Vagabonds due to our diverse international community. Additionally, we are proficient in other languages (French, Italian, Spanish) to ensure smooth communication and assistance.
